"Waiting for David"p.69
What does the following quote from the chapter tell you about the city?
"That was one thing about being outside the city; it made all that nature stuff they taught in school seem a lot more useful. She remembered now how rainterwater fell on the mountains and soaked into the ground..."
-this tells me that the city is the exact opposite of the wilderness, though what they say in the city about nature very true and helpful.
